Dua Lipa, whose full name is Dua Lipa, was born on August 22, 1995, in London, England. Her parents are ethnic Albanians from Kosovo. She attended the Sylvia Young Theatre School part-time before moving to Kosovo with her family in 2008. At age 15, she returned to London to pursue a career in music.
Lipa gained attention initially by posting cover songs on YouTube. In 2015, she signed with Warner Music Group and released her debut single “New Love.” Her breakthrough came with the single “Be the One,” which achieved commercial success across Europe.
